ATLANTA STUDENTS DESERVE EQUITABLE ACCESS TO GEORGIA'S BOOMING CREATIVE ECONOMY.
A public arts professional preparatory high school provides that access.
Atlanta School for the Arts will be a public arts professional preparatory high school that prepares Atlanta students for careers and continuing education at the conservatory level in the arts.
The Atlanta School for the Arts Foundation is currently founding the school by organizing the resources, support, and research to formalize a partnership between the Foundation and an Atlanta public school board. Once AtlSFA opens (projected for 2023/2024), it will serve approximately 500 9th-12th graders who are accepted through talent-based auditions for intensive study in one of five majors: music (instrumental or voice), dance, theater (performance or tech), visual arts, or film. All students will be prepared to earn a high school diploma, in addition to more than 3.5 hours of daily, intensive arts instruction with working arts professionals in their field.

About Us
The Atlanta School for the Arts Foundation is a 501c3 founded in 2018 to support the establishment of a public arts preparatory high school in Atlanta. The founding team was comprised of more than 50 artists, entrepreneurs, students, teachers, parents, and philanthropists who are passionate about arts equity and excellence in Atlanta. As the team has grown and evolved, we are now comprised of a Board of Directors, Advisory Council, and arts teams who each drive the different important elements of the founding work. It is our commitment to see Atlanta School for the Arts opened by 2026.
